ASTRAY: Lost in Daydreams - Final Bachelor Project
Introduction
Everyone daydreams. The intensity and amount vary from person to person. However, a report from Harvard University shows that a person spends approximately 50 percent of their waking time daydreaming. This is completely normal and not a cause for concern.
Contrary to that, there is the maladaptive disorder - the excessive consumption of fantasy significantly impairs everyday life which can lead to severe mental health issues, anxiety and the loss of a persona.
This project was part of an art exhibition at my college (Hochschule Bielefeld) and I wanted to use the notoriety of this event to present this important but not very known topic to a broader mass.
